"Warning" about Concrete, Steel, and the effects of salts

The steel in the concrete, this being wire mesh of re bar, this is normally just a simple carbon
steel.  When carbon steel corrodes, it expands.  Have you ever found something old that’s
made of steel that has become all rusty?  You recognize the item, but it’s usually a lot bigger
than it was when it was new.

The problem with the steel inside your concrete is that as it expands.  The force will be applied
to the concrete structure that causes it to crack.  This in turn, leads to more of the corrosion
process to begin.  At some point, if not cared for, the concrete will totally fail.

What is Coral Stone?

"Coral Stone" Fossilized Limestone

What is Fossilized Limestone?

“Coral Stone” is a trade-name for Fossilized Limestone. Limestones are a sedimentary rock consisting
mainly of calcium carbonate. Limestone comes in many varieties. This type of limestone is highly
fossiliferous with calcium rich remains of ancient marine creatures trapped in the sediments of the banks
or coral reefs where they once lived. The matrix cementing these fossils together is composed of the
fragments of other fossils that broke up in the surf before the limestone solidified. The types of fossils
you can discover in this material include brachium pods, coral, snails, clams and gastropods brain wave
and leaf coral. These sea creatures from 240 million years ago.
Coquina stone contains fragments of shell and sand which protrude from the surface. Raw
Coquina stone from a quarry looks similar to a clump of sand tightly packed with tiny shells and
larger shell fragments.

Fossil stone primarily contains the imprint of various fossilized remains. There can be
protrusions within the rock, but they are more spread out and not clumped as tightly as Coquina
stone.

Natural Coral stone is harvested from dormant coral reefs, and contains the intricate designs
